1997 Nobel Laureate in Physics
the Professor of physics at Stanford University

The vast majority of scientists believe that the changes in temperature and other weather patterns over the past half century are due to a changing climate and is largely the result of human activity. I will give the evidence for risks of climate change and then give some of the methods used to spread doubt in the risks of climate change. I will also describe how the cost of clean energe has dramatically declined in the past decade as well as the remaining technical and policy challenges we face.
